The series of TL50 contrast sensors provides the best solution for applications where a cost reduction is required, without refusing excellent detection performances. The optimized optics of these sensors, the RGB LED transmitter with automatic choice of colour and high resolution, enable the detection of minimal colour contrasts in grey scale between print mark and background, or different objects or surfaces. The high resolution does not lead to restrictions of the detection rate – the response time here 33 ms and the switching frequency is 15 kHz.
