Der Induktive Sensor aus der AM Serie von Microdetectors SpA. mit einem  M12 Gehäuse arbeitet mit einer Versorgungsspannung von 10…30 V DC. Als Ausgang steht ein schaltender Schließer- oder Öffner zur Verfügung. Mit einer Reichweite von 2 bis 4 mm  ist der Induktive Sensor der AM Serie -in einem Temperaturbereich von -25…70 °C bei einer Schaltfrequenz von 1,5 kHz erhältlich. Der elektrische Anschluss erfolgt über einen Kabelanschluss, M8- oder M12 Stecker. Durch die sehr hohe Schutzart ist der Sensor für fast alle relevanten Applikationen einsetzbar.
