Der Induktive Sensor aus der AE Serie von Microdetectors SpA. mit einem  M8 Gehäuse arbeitet mit einer Versorgungsspannung von 10…30 V DC. Als Ausgang steht ein schaltender Schließer- oder Öffner zur Verfügung. Mit einer Reichweite von bis zu 1,5- oder 4mm   als Einweg-Prinzip  ist der optische Sensor der AE Serie -in einem Temperaturbereich von -25…70 °C bei einer Schaltfrequenz von 5 kHz erhältlich. Der elektrische Anschluss erfolgt über einen Kabelanschluss, M8- oder M12 Stecker. Durch die sehr hohe Schutzart ist der Sensor für fast alle relevanten Applikationen einsetzbar.
